We are grateful for the overwhelming interest from WDC members and friends to hear from journalist Greg Miller on February 5, 2020. We have reached our event capacity. We apologize for any inconvenience to members who sent checks and did not complete the registration process. We look forward to seeing you at the March 23, 2020 event with Senator Mark Warner.
Here’s your chance to hear from Greg Miller, Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post national security reporter. For the 2018 Pulitzer, Mr. Miller’s team covered Russia’s interference in the 2016 election and its fallout under the Trump administration. His team’s 2014 Pulitzer for Public Service involved the US surveillance programs exposed by Edward Snowden.
Mr. Miller’s reporting has foreshadowed the foreign policy challenges our nation faces today. Hours after the 2016 election, he reported on the intelligence community’s anxiety about the Trump presidency and especially Trump’s positions on Russia, and cited speculation among national security officials about the roles Michael Flynn and Rudy Giuliani might play in a Trump administration, anticipating some of the issues underlying the impeachment.
He will sign copies of his recent book, The Apprentice: Trump, Russia and the Subversion of American Democracy.
Thanks to our partners at Politics & Prose, we can offer you a pre-release copy of the paperback edition, discounted to $15. Payment by cash or check only.
