WDC members (women and men) work together to elect Democrats; keep voters informed; advocate on state and local issues of importance to women and families; and educate our community on critical issues.
Be Informed
Receive Legislative updates on issues before the Maryland General Assembly, access to educational forums on issues of concern to members, and priority registration for WDC events. Our past speakers have included elected officials, candidates, authors, journalists, and leading political activists.
Be Engaged
Attend monthly Happy Hours to discuss politics and get to know one another. Meet with our congressional, state, and county elected officials. Sign up for special tours of landmarks such as The White House, the U.S. Capitol, the Governor's Mansion, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Be Effective
Become a committee member, connect with volunteer opportunities at the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee, organize to get out the vote, and help elect Democrats.
