How to become a member of wdc or renew your membership
Thank you for joining WDC or renewing your membership. Our membership dues have not changed: $35 for age 36 or older. $25 for those younger than 36.
For your convenience you may pay for your membership by check or online. Please read the directions below or use these quick links to join or renew your membership:

How to Pay By Check
Print this membership form, complete and indicate if this is a renewal or a new membership.
If you do not have a printer, write your name, address, phone number, and email on paper. Indicate if this is a renewal or a new membership.
Write a check to WDC for $35 (or $25 if you are under 36 years old) and write Membership in the memo line.
Put the membership form, or the paper with your membership information, in an envelope with your check and mail to:

Mywdc basics
WDC uses software, MyWDC, for our members to join, renew their memberships, and to sign up for events. If you have been a member of WDC since 2019, paid by check, or registered as a guest for an event, you probably have an account in MyWDC using your usual email.
Your Account in MyWDC has your email and name as well as other information you have provided to WDC. This information is used, with your permission, for our Membership Directory which is printed every couple of years.
To login into your MyWDC account, you need your email and a password.
Usually, you would use your personal email not a organization email which can change.
Usually, you provide your password when you first create your MyWDC account. However, if you first used MyWDC to register for one of our events as a guest or you sent us a check for a membership or an event, an account was automatically created to contain your information but with a temporary password.
You can reset your password at any time by clicking a link on a screen or you can reset your password now.
You can request help from WDC to change your password by clicking on a Support or Help on a screen. Or you can request help now.
How to Renew online for the First Time
WDC uses software, MyWDC, for our members to join, renew their memberships, and to sign up for events. If you have been a member of WDC since 2019, paid by check, or registered as a guest for an event, you probably have an account in MyWDC using your usual email.
Follow these steps to login to your MyWDC online account for the first time.
To use MyWDC you need a username and a password.
Your username is the email address that gave us when you joined or registered for an event.
Devise a password that you are likely to remember.
Write down your username and password someplace where you can refer to them in the future.
When you get to MyWDC
You will see a Login screen that asks for your username and password. If you forgot or need to create a password yet, find the HavingForgot your Password? area, enter your email in the box and click Recover Your Account. We will send you an email where you can reset your password.
If you do not get an email to reset your email, then we do not have an account for that email. Go to the previous section and Join WDC for the first time online.
Once you reset your password, you will be on the Home screen.
A box on the upper right asks What you would like to do?
Click on the down-arrow next to the question to open this drop-down menu to WDC Membership. MyWDC will advise you if your membership is current or if you need to renew.
If you need to renew, you can follow the prompts and renew on-line.
Then you will submit your information and pay for your membership.
When you are ready, go to MyWDC and follow these steps. Then you can logout of MyWDC.

How to Renew online once you have a mywdc Account or username
If you have ever used MyWDC before either to join WDC or to register for an event you probably have an account in MyWDC. If you know your username and password, have them ready so you can login to MyWDC using them and go to Step 1 below.
Login to MyWDC using your username and password.
If you forgot your password or do not remember creating an account, use the email you most commonly use and locate the Forgot your password box, enter your email and we will send you link to create a new password. Then follow the next steps.
If you do not get an email then MyWDC does not have an account for you. In this case go to the previous section How to Join WDC online.
Once you log in to MyWDC with your username and password, you will be on the Home screen. A box on the upper right asks what you would like to do? Click on the down-arrow next to the question to open this drop-down menu to WDC Membership. It will advise you if your membership is current or if you need to renew.
If you need to renew, you can follow the prompts and renew on-line.

When you get to MyWDC
You will see a Login screen that asks for your username and password. Since you have not yet signed up for MyWDC, press the cross, X, in the upper right hand corner of the box.
Then you will be taken to a screen where you will be asked for your username and password.
Then you will be asked to enter your information such as name, address and phone number.
As WDC prints a member directory regularly, you will be asked if you would listed in the directory, and which information should be printed.
Then you will have the opportunity to indicate which WDC committees you might like to join. The committee chair will contact you.
Then you will click Submit your information and pay for your membership.
When you are ready, go to MyWDC and follow these steps.
