WDC is hosting a complimentary, members-only day in Annapolis. This unique opportunity will allow members the opportunity to see the General Assembly in action. We will watch the Senate and House debate live, hear from Annapolis insiders on how to effectively advocate in Annapolis, meet one on one with legislators, take a private tour of the state house and watch legislators advocate on critical issues in committee.

• Meet one-on-one with your State Senator and Delegates to hear the inside scoop and advocate for WDC Priority Issues
• Take a private tour of the State House.
• Watch our legislators advocate on critical issues in committee hearing

Annapolis Day Schedule:

 8:30     Attend a meeting of the Women Legislators Caucus chaired by Women’s Caucus                      President Del. Ariana Kelly (D16)  This is optional.

 9:00     Meet at the State House (first floor) & Welcome by Women’s                                                      Caucus President Del. Ariana Kelly (D16)

 9:15       Legislative Briefing & Advocacy Training by Annapolis Insiders

10:00     Maryland General Assembly House or Senate Session

10:45     Meet with Montgomery County Senators & Delegates

12:00     Lunch with Montgomery County Delegation

1:30       Attend Committee Hearings or Tour State House

3:00      Meet in County Delegation Room for Debriefing

3:30      Depart Annapolis
