2021-2023 Slate of Officers


The WDC nominating committee proposes the following slate of officers for 2021-2023. All members present at the June  20, 2021 general membership meeting may vote on the slate. Biographies for the proposed officers follow.

Leslie Milano, President

Laura Stewart, First Vice President

Professional: Piano and Music Teacher, 1990-1991, 2008-present; National Account Support Consultant, MCI Government Markets - FAA and USDA 1995-2005, Accounts Payable Associate, Central Delivery Service, 1992-1994. Lorna Forde, Second Vice President 

Political: Chair, WDC Affordable Housing Advocacy Committee; Former gubernatorial appointee to Maryland Commission for Women and Past Co-Chair of annual Women of Tomorrow Awards Ceremony; Past President, Montgomery County Alumnae Chapter and Coordinator, Maryland Social Action of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., planned local, state and national legislative events. Dr. JoAnne Koravos, Third Vice President

Martha Morris, Recording and Corresponding Secretary
