There are only 35 days left before Election Day, 23 days before the start of early voting, and mail-in ballots are already out. In this final stretch, let’s make sure that we are doing everything we can to ensure victory for Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. We must elect Angela Alsobrooks to the U.S. Senate, and elect April McClain Delaney to Congressional District 6.

Besides the crucial federal races, we also have two important questions on the November ballot. We need to ensure voters know to vote Yes on Ballot Question 1, which seeks to enshrine abortion, birth control, and reproductive rights in our state Constitution and No on Question A, a Republican-led initiative that seeks to cut the County Executive’s term limit from three terms to two. 

Here are some ways you can help:

• Share the official Democratic Sample Ballot with your networks. Make sure your family and friends see it and encourage them to VOTE. 

• Sign up to canvass or make phone calls to voters HERE.

• Sign up for one or more early voting shifts AND send an email to all your friends asking them to take a shift at an early voting site. Sign up HERE. It’s important that we have an Alsobrooks supporter on every shift during Early Voting (Oct. 24-31). 

• Join WDC. As a member you will be added to our mailing list and receive updates on all upcoming events.
