March 2, 2024, saw a hefty turnout for the Democratic U.S. Senate Candidates Forum, which was moderated by the Washington Post's columnist, Jennifer Rubin. The forum, held at Montgomery Blair High School Auditorium, was attended by approximately 600 attentive area residents and featured Democratic Senate candidates, Angela Alsobrooks, Marcellus Crews, Brian Frydenborg, Robert Houton, Steven Seuferer, David Trone, and Andrew Wildman. It was sponsored by the Montgomery County WDC and the Greater Silver Spring Democratic Club.
